Kay The Fashion Bay

If you are walking down Trycraft Road in Triplicane, you will find us at number 285. We are pretty close to the A to B Hotel, which is lucky for us because everyone uses that as a landmark when they are lost. It’s a lively part of town, always full of people and noise. Our shop, Kay The Fashion Bay, has been around for a few years, tucked into this little spot. It’s not a huge space, so we have to be careful about how we stack the clothes on the racks. Sometimes it feels a bit cramped when more than three people come in at once, but we make it work. We spend a lot of our time just tidying up the hangers and talking to the folks who wander in after their lunch at the hotel. The street outside is usually a mess of scooters and cars, so it’s a bit of a relief once you step inside, even if our air conditioning is a bit temperamental. We don’t have a big marketing team or anything like that. It’s just us, the inventory, and a lot of patience. We get our stock from different places and just put out what we think looks okay. Some days are slow and we just sit by the door watching the rain or the traffic, but other days we don’t even have time to eat our tiffin. It’s just a normal local business doing its thing, day after day.
