You have to take the elevator up to the 9th floor at No. 9 Mc. Nichols Road in Chetpet to find us. We are in the A block of the building. Being up this high means we get a decent view of the city, though we are usually too busy with paperwork to look out the window much. We handle exports, which means a lot of phone calls and keeping track of shipping containers. The office is full of files and desks that have seen better days. It is not one of those modern glass offices; it is a bit more traditional with heavy wooden doors and old fans. We deal with various products that need to go overseas. Every day is about checking schedules and making sure the documents are in order. If one paper is missing, everything stops, so we are quite careful about that. We have a small pantry where we make coffee. Most of us have worked here for a long time, so we know each other's habits. The building can get a bit hot in the afternoons when the sun hits the windows. We usually have a lot of samples lying around the floor in cardboard boxes.
