Fine Wear Leathers

We’ve been over here at No. 2a Venkatamangalam Road in Kandigai for quite a while now. If you’ve ever walked down this way, you’ve probably heard our machines humming through the door. We run Fine Wear Leathers, and it is exactly what it sounds like. We work with leather hides all day long. It is a bit of a messy business, to be honest. There is always dust from the sanding and that strong scent of tanned leather that never really leaves your clothes. Chennai heat doesn't help much, but we have some big fans that keep the air moving in the workshop. We are not a giant company with a bunch of fancy suits in an office. It is mostly just us and a few workers who know how to handle a needle and thread. We spend a lot of time just looking at the hides to see where the natural marks are. Every piece of leather has its own story, with scars or wrinkles, and we have to figure out how to cut around them or use them. My nephew helps with the heavy lifting and the packing. Sometimes the road outside gets blocked up with trucks, which makes it hard to move our finished goods out. We just take it as it comes. We are just regular people making leather items. We don't have a big marketing plan. We just do our work here in Kandigai and try to get things finished.
