We are based at Plot No. 67, which is Door No. 18 on 1st Street in Thiruvenkatam Nagar. Kandanchavadi is a busy area and we fit right in with the other businesses along the street. The building is a simple concrete structure. We have been at this address for a good number of years. Inside Mega Fashions, it is all about the work. We have tables lined up for checking the garments and boxes piled up in the corners ready to go out. The lighting is just standard tube lights, nothing fancy. We have a small crew of people who handle everything from the initial sorting to the final packing. It is not the kind of place you would find in a magazine. It is a real working environment where things get a bit messy during the peak season. The floor usually has some scraps of paper or bits of plastic on it by lunchtime. We do our best to keep it tidy, but the work always comes first. Most of our days are spent checking measurements and making sure nothing was missed. We don't have a big corporate lobby with a sofa. If you come to see us, you will probably find us standing around the main table or sitting on stools. We like it this way because it is honest and we can see what is happening with every single order as it goes through.
