Kalki Exports & Imports

If you walk down Thambu Chetty Street, you will find us at No. 46/91 in the Kms Plaza. We are up on the first floor. It is a busy building with a lot of noise coming from the street below. Kalki Exports & Imports is what we call ourselves, and we have been handling stuff coming in and out from this small office for a while. The stairs up to the first floor are a bit steep, so we usually take them slow. Inside, it is mostly just computers and stacks of files that need sorting. We deal with all the export and import documents every day. It is not the most exciting work, but it keeps us busy from morning until night. Sometimes the tea man comes by and that is the highlight of our afternoon. The office layout is a bit cramped because we have so many records stored in the back. Thambu Chetty Street is always full of people, so there is never a quiet moment outside. We just focus on our tasks and try to keep everything moving. Most of our neighbors are doing similar work, so we all know each other well enough to say hello. We don't have any big corporate signs, just the one on the door. It’s a practical space for what we do. We like being centrally located because it makes logistics a bit easier for everyone involved in our daily operations.
