K. G. R. Apparel Exports

K. G. R. Apparel Exports is situated at No. 8 on the 1st Floor of the Avadi Redhills Road in Ambattur. We have been in this spot for a while now. The building is right in the middle of the industrial belt. You can hear the traffic from the road all day long. Getting up to the first floor involves a narrow set of stairs that we’ve climbed thousands of times. Inside, it’s all about garments. We have racks and tables everywhere. It’s not a polished environment. There is dust from the fabric and the constant hum of machines. We handle the export side of things, so there are always boxes being taped up and labels being stuck on. My uncle started this place, and I’ve been helping out for a long time. We don't have a lobby or a fancy waiting room. If you come by, you’ll likely see us in the middle of a pile of shirts or trousers. We just try to keep things moving. Sometimes the power cuts out and we have to wait a bit, but that’s just how it goes here. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to do our job and go home to our families. It’s honest work on a busy street. We don't use big words to describe what we do. We just make clothes and send them out from our small floor in Ambattur.
