J.S Readymix Concrete

Our base is at No.41/17 on Arumuganar Street, which is in the Anandhapuram part of East Tambaram. Since it is mostly a residential neighborhood, we try not to be too loud, though readymix concrete is a noisy business by nature. J.S Readymix Concrete has been in this spot for quite a while now. The yard usually has trucks coming and going, with piles of sand and gravel sitting around. It is a functional space, not a pretty one. We don't have a polished office for sitting down and having meetings. Most of the time, we are just standing by the trucks talking about the day’s work. The heat in East Tambaram can be really tough in the afternoons, so we try to get an early start. Most of the guys working here live nearby, so we have all known each other for years. There is no corporate structure or human resources office here. If someone has a problem, we just talk it over and try to solve it ourselves. Arumuganar Street is a bit tight for the large mixer trucks, but we have learned how to drive them through over the years. We don't spend money on marketing or ads. We just focus on getting the concrete mix right and making sure the trucks get to the site when they are supposed to. It is a simple, hardworking life for us. We just keep our heads down and do the work.
