You’ll find Js Global School No.1 down on Lake View Road in Sholinganallur. It’s a pretty easy spot to locate because we’re directly opposite the Ponniyamman Kovil. If you’re driving along Old Mahabalipuram Road, you know how heavy the traffic can get with all the IT offices and people rushing around, but once you turn off towards the lake area, things quiet down just a little bit. We’ve been operating from this Sholinganallur location for some time now. The temple across the street is a good landmark for people who are visiting us for the first time. Sometimes you can even hear the bells from the kovil during the day. The building itself is just a standard school structure, nothing over the top or flashy. We spend our mornings dealing with the usual chaos of the OMR commute and getting everyone inside before the sun gets too hot. There’s always something to do, whether it’s checking the gates or making sure the hallways are clear for the day. We aren't part of some giant chain with glossy brochures; it’s just us here on Lake View Road trying to keep the place running smoothly for the families in this part of town. It’s a lot of work, and some days are noisier than others with the road nearby, but that’s just how it is in this part of Chennai. We’re just local people working in a local building, facing the temple every morning when we open up.
