Down on Josier Street in Nungambakkam, you’ll find our office. Jasmine Concrete India Pvt Ltd has been part of this neighborhood for a good while. We deal with concrete and all the things that go along with it for building projects. It’s a bit of a noisy business sometimes, and our office is usually covered in a thin layer of dust from the sites we visit. Being in Tirumurthy Nagar means we are right in the thick of things. We spend a lot of time on the phone talking to site managers or checking on deliveries. It’s not the kind of work where you stay clean all day. Most of us have boots by the door ready for when we need to head out. We don’t have a fancy lobby with a fountain. It’s just desks, chairs, and a lot of blueprints. Sometimes the heat in Chennai makes the work tough, but we just get on with it. We’ve seen a lot of buildings go up around here over the years and it feels okay knowing we had a small part in some of them. We’re just a bunch of people who know a thing or two about construction. We try to be honest about what can be done and how long it’ll take. Nothing more to it than that, just keeping the trucks moving and the mix right.
