Jai Sri Sai Academy

Our academy is based in Sun Towers in Padi. It’s a well-known building in this part of Chennai. We are quite close to the New Pillayar Koil, which is a good landmark if you are trying to find us for the first time. Also, St Therasa Matric School is right nearby, so there are always lots of kids and parents around in the mornings and afternoons. Padi is a busy area, but being in Sun Towers gives us a bit of a dedicated space. It’s not a very fancy place, just some rooms where we hold our sessions. We see a lot of local families coming through. The atmosphere is generally quite focused. We don’t have a big staff, just a few of us who handle everything from the cleaning to the teaching. Sometimes the traffic near the school gets a little hectic during drop-off times, but that’s just how it is in this city. We like the location because it’s easy for people to describe—just tell them it’s near the temple and the school. Inside, we keep things simple with desks and chairs. We don’t spend much on decorations. The main thing is that it’s a place where students can sit down and actually learn something. We’ve been in this spot for a while now and feel like we’ve become a small part of the daily life here in Padi. It is a practical space for those in the neighborhood.
