Spens Impex Pvt. Ltd. is based at No. 130 Rathinam Street in Vasudevan Nagar, Jaffarkhanpet. We have been at this address for several years, and it has become a second home to many of us. Our business is about importing and exporting goods, but most of the time it just feels like we are managing a lot of details. There are always forms to fill out and people to call to make sure things are moving through the port correctly. Rathinam Street is a decent place to work, though it can get a little crowded when we have deliveries. We don't really have a big staff or a fancy way of doing things. It’s mostly just sitting at our desks and making sure the numbers match up. We are regular people who know the local area well. Some of the guys have been working here since the beginning. We don't spend money on big advertisements or anything like that. People usually find us because we have been around for so long. The office can get quite warm in the summer, so we just keep the fans on and keep working. Sometimes there are problems with the shipping lines that we can't control, and we just have to deal with the frustration. It’s not a perfect business, but we do the work as best as we can. We are just an ordinary company trying to get things from one place to another without too much trouble for anyone involved.
