International Apparel House

International Apparel House is over at No. 3 Manikeswari Road, specifically in B-103 Kalaniketan in Kilpauk. It’s a nice enough area, and we’ve been here for some time now. Our workspace is tucked away inside the building, so it’s a bit quieter than being right on the main street. We spend our days dealing with all kinds of clothes and fabrics. It can get a bit cluttered with samples hanging everywhere and piles of patterns on the tables. We aren't trying to be a high-fashion house with runway shows. We’re just regular people making apparel for everyday use. Most of the time, we’re busy cutting fabric or checking the measurements on an order. We don't use any fancy language to describe what we do. It’s just work. We have a small kettle in the corner for tea, which we drink a lot of during the day. Kilpauk is a good neighborhood, and we like the people who stop by. We don’t have a big corporate structure or anything like that. It’s just us, doing our best to get the orders finished on time. Sometimes we stay late when there’s a lot to do, but that’s part of the trade. We aren't looking for any awards, just to keep the business going and provide something useful. If you come to Manikeswari Road, you’ll find us there, likely busy with some thread and a pair of scissors. We might be a bit messy, but the clothes come out fine in the end.
