Intel Engineers

You can find us at 247, Vanagaram Road in Athipet. The name is Intel Engineers, but we don't do anything with computers or software. We are strictly mechanical guys. Our shop is full of the usual stuff like milling machines and grinders. It is a straightforward engineering workshop where we spend the day making parts and fixing machinery. Athipet is a busy spot, and being on Vanagaram Road means there is always a lot of traffic passing by. We have a small crew and everyone knows their job. We don't spend much on decorations; the walls are mostly covered in old calendars and charts for drill sizes. Usually, there is a radio playing somewhere in the background, though it is hard to hear over the sound of the metal cutting. We take in work from all sorts of people. Sometimes it is a single piece for a guy's hobby project, and other times it is a whole crate of parts for a local factory. We don't have a formal way of doing things. We just look at the job, give a price, and get to work. If we say it will be ready by Thursday, we try our best to make that happen, though sometimes things go wrong with the old machines. It is just the way it goes in a small shop like ours. We’ve been here for a few years and most folks around here know us by now. It’s a decent life and we just take things one day at a time without worrying too much about being fancy.
