If you head down Jones Road in Saidapet, you will find us at New No.36. It is an old spot and people around here know the building pretty well. We run the leather goods division of Inder Mohan Agarwal from this specific location. It is not a fancy showroom with glass walls. Mostly, it is just a workspace where we handle all the material and the orders that come in. The air usually smells like leather and hard work. Saidapet is a busy area, especially during the middle of the day when everyone is out on the street. We have been here for a good amount of time now. Working with leather takes a lot of patience and it is often quite a messy process. Our tools are old but they still work fine for what we need to do. We do not really bother with big signs or flashy lights to get attention. People who need us usually know where to turn off the main road. The building is numbered 77 in the old system, which sometimes confuses new people, but New No. 36 is what is written on the door. It gets very hot in the afternoons, so we keep the fans going and just keep working. It is a simple life for us. We are just trying to make things and keep the business running. Every day is pretty much the same.
