Icfai Business School Research Centre is located at 47 Ponnappa Chetty Street. This is in the Park Town area of Chennai. If you know the city, you know Park Town is usually buzzing with activity. We are right in the middle of it. Our postal code is 600 003. It is an old part of town with a lot of history in the streets. The building we are in has seen a lot of years. We go there every morning and start on the research tasks. There are usually stacks of folders on the tables. It is not the kind of place where people wear suits every day. We just wear what is comfortable for the weather. Chennai can get very hot, so we keep the fans going all day long. We have been at this Ponnappa Chetty Street address for a good while now. Neighbors around us are mostly shops and other small offices. We see the same faces every day when we walk to get lunch or a coffee. It is a very grounded place to work. We do not have any fancy brochures or big marketing teams here. We just have our research work and the day-to-day things that need doing. It is a straightforward setup for us. We like the local feel of Park Town. It makes the workday feel a bit more real and connected to the city we live in. We just keep our heads down and do the work.
