Hurera Leather Company

We’ve been here at 39/1 Gudiyattam Road in Ambur for quite some time now. Dealing with leather is just what people do around here, and it’s no different for us at Hurera Leather Company. Our space in Chinnavarigam is usually filled with the smell of raw hides and the sound of machines running throughout the day. It gets pretty loud sometimes. We mostly spend our mornings sorting through batches and checking the quality of what comes in. It is hard work, honestly. The floors are rarely clean because there is always some scrap or thread lying around. We don't have a big fancy office or anything like that. Just a practical workspace where the guys get things done. Some days are slower than others, especially when the weather is hot, but we keep at it. People know us in the neighborhood as the place near the road where the leather stuff happens. We just try to get the orders ready and out the door without too much fuss. It’s a local business, run by people who have lived in Ambur their whole lives. We don’t really do much advertising or anything. Most folks just stop by because they saw the sign or heard about us from a neighbor. It is just a regular day-to-day operation here. We handle the skins, do the cutting, and make sure everything is packed up right for whoever needs it next.
