Hotel Mallika

We’ve been here on Meeran Sahib Streetmount Road for a while now. It’s a busy part of the area, and you can always hear the traffic outside. Hotel Mallika isn't a fancy place, just a building at No. 14 where we handle things day by day. Most mornings start early with people coming and going. The 600002 area stays loud until late at night. Sometimes the street gets crowded with bikes and people walking to work, but we just keep the doors open. We don't have a big team, just a few of us making sure things are tidy. It’s mostly regular faces around here. You get used to the sounds of the city when you work around No. 14. The building has its quirks, like the lights that flicker sometimes or the way the front door sticks in the heat. We don't mind it much. It’s home for us. We just focus on what needs doing right now, like fixing a leaky tap or sweeping the entrance. It’s a simple life running a spot in this part of town. People often stop by just because they’re in the neighborhood for shopping or business. We’ve seen the street change over the years, new shops opening and old ones closing down, but No. 14 stays pretty much the same. It's just a place to stay when you're passing through this side of town. We keep it basic and get on with the work.
