Amrita Inn Hotel

We are at No 18 on Jawaharlal Nehru Salai, right across from Radha Park Inn in Arumbakkam. If you know Chennai, you know this road is almost always packed with cars and buses. It’s a major part of the city. We’ve been running this inn for a while now. It’s a simple building with rooms for people who need a place to stay without spending too much money. We don’t have those fancy lobbies with fountains or anything like that. It’s just a desk, some chairs, and the stairs going up to the floors. We keep things clean and functional. The rooms have the basics—a bed, a fan or AC, and a bathroom. Most of our guests are people in town for work or just passing through the Arumbakkam area. We see a lot of different people every day. Some stay just for a few hours to rest, others stay for a week. We try to be helpful if they need anything, like where to find a good tea stall or how to get to the bus station. The noise from Jawaharlal Nehru Salai is always there in the background, but you get used to it. It’s just part of being in this part of town. We are just a local business trying to do things right and keep the doors open for anyone who needs a room. Nothing more, nothing less.
