Beverly Hotel

We’ve been here at Beverly Hotel on Rajarathinam Road in Kilpauk for quite some time now. People usually find us easily enough because 17 is right there where you’d expect it to be. It is a busy part of the city, so there is always something going on outside our doors. The 600010 area has changed a lot over the years, but we just keep doing what we do every day. Some of the staff have worked here so long they know every corner of the place. We start early in the mornings, getting things ready before the first guests start moving around. It’s not a fancy life, just regular work. Sometimes the traffic on Rajarathinam Road gets a bit loud, but that is just part of being in this neighborhood. We see all kinds of people walking in, some staying for a night and others just stopping by. We try to keep the place tidy and make sure things are working right. If a bulb goes out, someone goes and fixes it. It's just a building with rooms and people, really. We don't have a big corporate office or anything like that. It is just us here in Kilpauk. We spend a lot of time checking the hallways and making sure the entrance looks okay. You get used to the rhythm of the place after a while. The address is easy to remember, and we are glad to be part of this little patch of the city.
