Heavy Metal Fashion Private Limited

Our company, Heavy Metal Fashion Private Limited, is located in Kotturpuram. We are at No. 29/23 on Dhandayuthapani Nagar First Street. Despite the name, we aren't a band or a workshop; we deal with clothes and fashion stuff. It’s a bit of a mouthful of a name, but it stuck. The neighborhood is mostly residential, so it’s a fairly calm place to work compared to the rest of Chennai. Our building is just a regular house that we converted into an office and storage area. We spend most of our time checking seams and looking at buttons. It’s not very glamorous. There’s usually a lot of lint on the floor and stacks of fabric in the corners. We aren't fancy people. We wear regular clothes and drink a lot of tea while we work. The street is small, and sometimes it’s hard for people to find us the first time. We don't have a big neon sign out front. We just have our small nameplate. It’s a family-style business where everyone knows each other’s business. We’ve been in Kotturpuram for a while now and we like the vibe. We don't have a mission statement or anything like that. We just try to make sure the clothes we handle are decent and that the bills are paid. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from morning till evening, mostly six days a week.
