Haberdasher Ventures Private Limited is tucked away on Bhattacharjee Street in Elango Nagar. Our door is 4B. Virugambakkam is a nice part of Chennai, a bit quieter than the main hubs, which we like. We’ve been operating from here for some time now. People ask what a haberdasher venture does, and mostly, we just handle various goods and trade. It’s a lot of paperwork and keeping track of inventory. The office is small and filled with files and a couple of old computers. We don't have a receptionist or a fancy lobby. If the bell rings, one of us just gets up to see who it is. We work with a few local suppliers and try to keep things running smoothly. Some weeks are quiet, and other weeks it feels like we can't catch a break with all the orders. We don't really do the whole corporate thing with meetings that last for hours. We just talk across the room and get things sorted. The street outside is narrow, so when the delivery trucks come, it’s a bit of a squeeze. We know the people around here, and they know us. It’s just a standard small business setup. We aren't trying to be the biggest company in India. We just want to do our work at 4B Bhattacharjee Street and go home to our families at the end of the day.
