Habeeb Tanning Company

Habeeb Tanning Company is based at 21 Vepery High Road in the Periamet area. If you know this part of town, you know it is famous for leather work. There is a certain smell in the air around here that you just get used to after a few days. Our building is right on the main road, so there is always a lot of noise from the trucks and the people moving goods back and forth. Inside, things are pretty functional. We have the vats and the drying areas set up to handle the tanning process. It is hard, physical work and it can get a bit messy on the shop floor. We do not have a fancy lobby for visitors. Usually, if someone comes to see us, they just walk straight back to where the work is happening. We have a small crew and we all know our roles. We have been at this address for a long time and we know most of the other business owners on the street. We help each other out when someone needs a specific tool or a bit of advice. We don't spend any money on fancy signs or promotional stuff. Our name is on the front and that is enough for people to find us. We just keep our heads down and make sure the leather is processed right. It is a tough business but we like it.
