Gurunanak College

Gurunanak College is tucked away at 20 Seetharam Nagar in Chennai. This part of the city is always buzzing with energy, and the college is a big part of that. We have been here for quite some time now, and the place has its own rhythm. Every morning, you see students pouring in from all directions, some on bikes and others walking from the nearby bus stops. The Chennai heat can be pretty brutal, so everyone looks for a bit of shade during the breaks. We have different buildings for the various subjects, and it can be a bit of a walk between them if you are in a hurry. The classrooms are just standard rooms with benches and fans that hum all day long. It is not a polished corporate office; it is a place for learning and hanging out. The staff here are mostly local people who know the neighborhood inside out. Sometimes the traffic outside on the main roads gets backed up, and you can hear the horns from the classrooms, but we have all gotten used to it. We don't have anything overly fancy, just the basic stuff needed to run a college in a busy city. It is a lot of routine, with exams and lectures filling up the weeks. We just try to keep things organized so the students can get their degrees and move on to whatever is next for them in the 600042 area.
