Mahalingam Exports

Mahalingam Exports operates out of Plot No. 15 in the Thiru Vi Ka Sidco Industrial Estate. If you know the Guindy area, you know it’s mostly warehouses and factories around here. Our place is right in the middle of that industrial bustle. We spend our days dealing with crates, paperwork, and shipping schedules. It is not the cleanest environment, as there is always some truck loading or unloading nearby, kicking up dust from the road. Inside, we have our desks and some storage space for whatever is moving out that week. The phones ring quite a bit, usually someone asking about a container or a delivery date. We aren't a big corporate office with glass walls. It’s more of a practical setup where we can get the work done without much fuss. The heat in Guindy can be quite something in the summer, so we have a few fans going all day. Sometimes we have to stay late to make sure a shipment is ready for the morning. It’s just the way exports go. We’ve been at this plot for a while, so we know the local transporters and how to navigate the traffic around the estate. It’s steady work, mostly involving a lot of coordination and making sure the labels are right before things head out. We keep it running and hope for no delays at the port. There is always another truck coming.
