Krups Apparels is based at 43 M. K. N. Road in Guindy. If you know the Guindy area at all, you know that the traffic on MKN Road can be quite something during rush hour. Our place is right there in the middle of it all. It’s an older building that has seen a lot of years, and our unit is just one part of the busy hum of this neighborhood. We have a small team of people who have been with us for a long time. There is no big HR department or fancy break room here. We usually just have our lunch at our desks or go to the small tea stall down the street. The work involves a lot of looking at fabrics and checking seams, so it can be quite tiring on the eyes. The fans hum in the background all day to keep the Chennai heat at bay, though they don't always do the best job. We just keep the doors open and try to stay organized. It is a very down-to-earth environment. We don't spend money on expensive decor or marketing materials. Instead, we just focus on the clothes and the people who buy them. Most of our business comes from people who just know us from being on M. K. N. Road for so long. We just show up, do the work, and deal with the heat like everyone else in Guindy.
