We are located at No. 54 GST Road in Pallavaram. You can't really miss us because we are right near the Laxmi Palace Marriage Hall. That hall is a big landmark around here. Our shop is a mix of wood and hardware. You can smell the sawdust as soon as you walk in. We have various types of timber stacked up in the back. It’s a busy road, so there is always a lot of dust and noise from the traffic. We spend a lot of time measuring wood and cutting it down for customers. It’s hands-on work. We also carry the basic hardware stuff like hinges and handles. Most of our customers are locals from Pallavaram or carpenters working on jobs nearby. We’ve been at this location on the GST Road for many years. My family has always been into the timber trade. It’s not a fancy showroom. It’s a working shop where things get a bit messy. We have wood shavings on the floor and stacks of plywood everywhere. Sometimes people stop by just because they saw our sign while stuck in traffic. We talk to them about what wood works best for their doors or windows. We don't have a big team, just a couple of us who know the trade. It’s a lot of work but we like being in this part of town. There is always something to do when you are working with timber and tools.
