Green Mind Agri Organic Private Limited

Our place is over in West Velachery at the TNHB Colony. We are at Plot No 990, right on the TNHB Colony Main Road. Green Mind Agri Organic is really just about organic farming and trying to keep things natural. We started this because we saw a lot of interest in better food in the Chennai area. The office is situated in a residential part of town, so it feels more like a home than a business sometimes. We deal with organic supplies and talk to farmers who want to switch away from chemicals. It’s not always easy and there are a lot of rules to follow. We spend a lot of time checking labels and making sure everything is what it says it is. The traffic on the main road can be a bit much during rush hour, but we are used to it by now. We are a small group and we don't have any fancy corporate structure. We just work together to get the job done. Sometimes we have people dropping by just to ask questions about starting their own gardens. We try to help out when we can. It’s a simple operation and we don’t try to make it sound like more than it is. We are just here in Velachery doing our part in the organic sector and trying to keep the paperwork organized between all the different farm visits.
