Great Win Exports Private Limited is situated at No.4/234D, Mgr Salai 7th Street in Palavakkam. It’s a nice enough area, not too far from the coast, so you sometimes get a bit of a breeze if the buildings aren't blocking it. Our office is on a residential-looking street, so it’s quieter than being right on the main road. We do export work, which basically means we are always busy with packing and checking the quality of whatever we are sending out that week. The office space is quite simple, with just enough room for our desks and some storage for samples. We don’t have a big sign out front or a fancy lobby. People who need to find us usually know where we are. We have a small group of workers who have been with us for years, so we all know each other's families and how we like our coffee. The 7th street is narrow, so when a delivery truck comes, it takes some maneuvering to get it in the right spot. We spend a lot of time on our computers, but there is also a lot of walking back and forth to the storage area. It’s a steady pace of work. We aren't doing anything world-changing, just making sure the orders are correct and the boxes are taped up tight. It keeps us busy and pays the bills. Sometimes we stay late when a big shipment is due, but we usually head out by six.
