Grasim Industries Limited( Ultratech Concrete)

We are located down in Chennai, in the Ambattur area. Our office is on Anbazhagan Street in Oragadam, number 7/12. This specific branch focuses on the Ultratech Concrete side of Grasim Industries. Ambattur is a big industrial hub, so it makes sense for us to be here among all the other manufacturing and construction businesses. The street is usually busy with trucks and people moving about. It’s a bit humid here, as you’d expect for Chennai, but we have our fans and a small AC unit to keep us going. The office is a simple building on a regular street, nothing fancy. We deal with the concrete side, which involves a lot of technical coordination and timing. Concrete has to move fast, so our days are often a bit rushed. We spend a lot of time on our mobile phones or shouting over the noise of the traffic outside to get things organized. It’s a hardworking team here. We don't spend money on fancy decorations or high-end furniture because we are focused on the actual business of concrete. Most of us have been working in this area for years and we know the local routes by heart. It’s just a straightforward, gritty job in the heart of an industrial zone. We take care of the details and try to make sure every delivery arrives at the site exactly when it is needed.
