Government Higher Secondary Schoolchool Menha

We are located in the Nesapakkam area, specifically on the 2nd floor of the Pothigai Foundation building which is on Pillaiyar Koil Street. It is a bit of an unusual setup for a school, being inside a flat like this, but we have made it work for us. This is the Menha government higher secondary school. Since K K Nagar West is right nearby, we end up getting a lot of students coming from that direction as well. The street outside can get quite narrow and crowded, especially in the mornings when parents are dropping their kids off. Inside, we have converted the rooms into classrooms. It feels a bit tight some days, but it gets the job done and the students don't seem to mind much. We don't have a big playground or any outdoor space, so the students usually just hang out in the hallways or near the main entrance when they have their breaks. The teachers are all used to the specific layout of the flat and we have tried our best to organize the desks so we can fit everyone in. It is definitely a no-frills kind of place. We spend our time focusing on the textbooks and getting ready for the big exams. Being located in a residential building means we have to be a little bit careful about making too much noise for the neighbors living nearby. It is just a normal part of the day for everyone here. We have been operating in this spot for a while now, providing a local place for kids.
