Government Higher Secondary School Neemon Banda

We are the Neemon Banda school, and you can find us located at No 6, Bharathiyar Street in Old Perungalathur. This part of Chennai is a bit further out from the city center, but it is a good, quiet community to be in. The school building itself is quite old and has definitely seen better days after going through so many rainy seasons. We have a fair amount of greenery around the property, which makes the air feel a bit fresher. Our daily routine is pretty much the same as any other government-run school. We open the gates early, have the morning assembly under the trees, and then get straight into the daily lessons. The classrooms are very basic with old wooden benches that have been around for many years. We don't have much in the way of wall decoration, just some old educational posters and the blackboards. The staff room is always full of stacks of notebooks waiting to be corrected and the smell of hot tea. We try to keep things as organized as we can, but with so many students running around, it can get a bit messy and loud sometimes. We don't have a website or any kind of big social media presence at all. Most people in Old Perungalathur just hear about us from their neighbors or friends. We think that is the best way to run a local school. We focus mainly on the exams and making sure the kids are ready for whatever comes next.
