Government Higher Secondary School Mandi Bamora

You can find us at 112A, Nehru Street in the Alwartirunagar area of Valasaravakkam. We have been the Mandi Bamora school in this specific part of Chennai for many years now. Our building is a very simple structure that fits right into the middle of the residential street. It is not one of those huge, gated schools you see on the main busy roads; it is more of a local neighborhood place for the people living nearby. We have a lot of students who come from the surrounding houses and apartments. The mornings are always a bit of a rush with kids arriving on foot or being dropped off by their parents on their scooters. We don't have a lot of high-tech equipment or modern gadgets, just the basic stuff that is actually needed for teaching a class. Our teachers are hardworking people who really care about how the students are doing. We spend a lot of time on the basics, making sure everyone can read, write, and do their math sums properly before they graduate. There is no big fancy hall for events, so we usually hold our morning assemblies right in the small courtyard. It gets a bit dusty out there sometimes, but nobody really seems to complain about it. We just want to provide a solid, safe place for kids to spend their day and learn something useful for their future. We aren't trying to impress anyone with flashy things, we just do our work.
