Government Higher Secondary School Malthone

Our school is located at 2/8 Kambar Garden Apartment on Kambar Street in Virugambakkam. It is a bit of a unique setup being inside an apartment-style building, but we have made it work for our classes over the years. We have been here serving this part of the Chennai community for quite a while now. We don't have a massive campus with sports stadiums or anything like that, just our designated floors where the classrooms are set up for the students. It can get a bit cramped in the hallways when all the students are moving between their classes, but we have got a system that seems to work well enough for us. Most of our teachers live quite close by, so they know the neighborhood and the families very well. We focus on the higher secondary levels, so things tend to get pretty serious around the time of the final exams. The atmosphere is generally quiet during the actual class hours, except for the occasional sound of a teacher explaining a difficult math problem on the board. We use the local public parks for our physical education classes since we don't have our own big field for sports. It has a bit of a makeshift feel sometimes, but the education the kids get is very real and solid. We don't spend any time on fancy marketing because we really don't need to. The local parents know who we are and they trust us with their children.
