Government Higher Secondary School Girls Jaisinghnagar

This girls' school is located at 1/87 on the East Coastal Road in the Palavakkam part of Chennai. Being right on the ECR means we see a lot of people passing by on their way to the beaches or further south. It’s a government-run place, so things are pretty straightforward here. We don’t have fancy lounges or anything like that. The classrooms are filled with wooden benches and blackboards that have seen many years of use. Every morning, you’ll see the girls walking in through the gates, some laughing and some still looking a bit sleepy. The staff here is mostly local people who live around this area, so we know the families pretty well. The traffic noise can be a bit loud sometimes, especially with the buses honking on the main road, but you get used to it after a week or two. We spend our days grading papers, organizing the library, and just making sure the school stays in one piece. It’s a lot of work keeping up with all the students, but it’s what we do. The building is a bit older, and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint soon, but it works for us. We don’t try to be something we aren't. It's just a regular government school providing a place for the girls in the neighborhood to finish their studies. There is no point in making it sound like more than it is.
