Government Higher Secondary School Deri Tikamgarh

Our school is tucked away at No 128, right by the Senthil Nagar Vallalar Street entrance. If you know the Choolaimedu area, you probably know how these streets can get a bit tight. It is a maze sometimes, but we have been here at Government Higher Secondary School Deri Tikamgarh for quite a while. The entrance is where most of the action happens every day, with kids coming in from the surrounding neighborhood every morning. We have a modest setup inside. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint soon, but they hold up the roof and keep the sun off us while we work. We have different rooms for the different grades, and things get a bit loud when the bells ring for the end of a period. It is just a normal government school. We deal with the usual stuff like leaky taps or fans that squeak a bit too much when it gets really hot in the summer. Choolaimedu is a crowded area, so we are very used to the sounds of the city right outside our doors. We try to keep things organized, even when it gets a bit chaotic during the rainy season. Most of the families living nearby send their older kids here because it is convenient. We don't have much extra space, so we use every corner of the building at No 128. It is a practical place where we just get on with the job.
