Government Higher Secondary School Chiklod Kalan

This school is based at No 9 V J Flats P/4 in Thiruvanmiyur. Being in Chennai, space is always a bit of a tight thing, and we operate out of this specific spot to serve the local kids. We are a government higher secondary school, which means we're focused on those final crucial years of education. The building isn't what you'd call impressive, but it’s where we do our work. We have a lot of students and not always enough room to breathe, especially when the humidity picks up in the afternoons. Our daily routine is pretty set in stone—morning assembly, classes, a short break, and then more classes until it’s time to go home. We don’t have fancy labs or high-tech equipment; we just have our books and our teachers. Most of the staff here are just regular people trying to help the students get through their exams so they can find jobs or go to college. It’s a practical environment. We don't have a PR department or anything like that. If someone needs to find us, they just ask around the Thiruvanmiyur neighborhood. We’ve been here for a while and we plan to keep going as long as there are students who need to learn. It’s just a basic school, nothing fancy, just hard work and local kids in the area. That's the whole story.
