Jai Fashions

We are down here on Godown Street, just across from the Flower Bazaar police station. It gets pretty loud during the day with all the carts and people moving through the lane. Jai Fashions has been in this spot for a while now. If you're looking for No. 37, just look for the new number 99 on the board, it confuses people sometimes but we are right there. The shop isn't fancy. We have stacks of fabric and ready pieces piled up on the shelves. Most days it’s just us and a couple of boys helping with the bundles. We open up early, usually by the time the flower market starts getting busy. The tea stall guy brings us a glass of tea around eleven. It’s a bit cramped inside when we have a lot of stock arriving, but that’s just how things are in this part of town. Sometimes the rain makes the street a bit messy, so watch your step if you come by in October. We mostly deal with regular clothing items that people need every day. There’s no big sign or anything, just the name painted above the door. It’s a simple operation really. We don’t do much else besides looking after the orders and making sure everything is packed right. It gets hot in the afternoons, but the fan keeps things moving. If you pass the station, you have gone too far.
