Geo Impex

Our spot is located at No. 65 Kumarrapa Street in Nungambakkam. If you know this part of Chennai, you know how difficult the parking can be. It is a bit of a headache most mornings trying to find a place for a scooter. We have been running Geo Impex from here for some time now. The office is pretty basic and there is nothing really to show off. We deal with imports and exports, which mostly means looking at shipping manifests and talking to various vendors. It is a lot of waiting for shipments to clear and then rushing around when they finally do arrive. Sometimes the internet connection is slow, and we all just sit around waiting to send one important document. We usually eat our lunch at the small mess down the road because it is fast and easy. There is always some paperwork piled up on the desks that needs attending to. We are not trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to get the day’s tasks finished so we can head home. It is a small team here, so everyone ends up doing a bit of everything. One day I might be checking a ledger, and the next I am helping move a heavy box. That is just how it goes in a place like this. Nungambakkam is always moving, and we are just one of the many offices tucked into these narrow streets.
