Gate Hotel

Gate Hotel is located at No 30 on Thyagappa Chetty Street in Korukkupet. We are very close to the Kurukupet Rail Korukkupet station, so you can always hear the trains nearby. It’s a very local part of Chennai. The street gets quite narrow and busy with people walking to the train or going to work. We’ve been here for a good bit of time. Our building isn't anything special to look at, just a normal place where people come to stay. We have a lot of travelers who need a place near the station because it’s convenient for them. It’s mostly just hard work keeping everything running. We see all kinds of people coming through these doors. Some stay for a night, others a bit longer. We don’t have any big corporate rules or anything. We just talk to people like normal. Chennai can be very hot, so we try to keep things as comfortable as we can inside. Thyagappa Chetty Street has its own character, you know? It’s noisy and full of life. We are just one part of that. If you are looking for us, just ask someone near the railway station. Most people around here know where Thyagappa Chetty Street is. We just keep our heads down and do the work, making sure people have a bed for the night. It’s a simple life running a hotel in this part of the town.
