G. S. Impex

We are over at No. 9 K. K. P. Salai in Raghavendra Nagar, which is in the Ramapuram area. One thing everyone notices is that we are about 5 km from the airport. You can hear the planes taking off if the wind is blowing the right way, which happens more often than you would think. G. S. Impex is basically a hub for our daily trade activities. The office is situated in a spot that gets a lot of sun in the afternoon, so it stays pretty warm inside. We have a few cupboards filled with samples and a lot of ledgers because we still like to write things down by hand sometimes. It feels more real that way. Ramapuram has changed a lot over the years with more buildings coming up, but our little corner on K. K. P. Salai stays mostly the same. We handle the shipping and receiving without making a big fuss about it. The commute can be a bit of a grind because of the airport traffic nearby, but we have gotten used to leaving early. Sometimes customers drop by just to ask for directions since we are near a main landmark. We don't mind helping out. We just keep the ledger updated and make sure the goods are packed properly before they head out. It is steady work and keeps us occupied throughout the week without any need for flashy advertisements or expensive office decor.
