G. S. Impex

Down here in Perambur, things move at their own pace. We are based at No:2/47 Anandavel Street, which is a fairly narrow road but we make it work. G. S. Impex has been operating from this building for some time now. It is mostly just about keeping track of the inventory and making sure the boxes get where they need to go. Perambur is known for the railway works, so there is always that feeling of things being on the move around here. Our office has a heavy metal door that screeches a bit when you open it, and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint if we ever found the time. We don't really do much in the way of fancy meetings. Usually, it is just us sitting around the big wooden table, checking invoices and calling up the transport guys to see why they are running late again. The rain can be a bit of a problem on Anandavel Street because the water pools up near the entrance, so we have to keep some sandbags ready just in case. It is a simple way of working. We don't have any big corporate ideas, we just want to finish the day's list and head home to our families. Some days are slow and we just read the paper, other days we are running around until late in the evening.
