Frick India Limited

Frick India Limited has been at 243 Anna Salai for quite a while now. We also have that Post Box No. 1077 address which feels a bit old-fashioned these days, but it’s still on the letterhead. Being on Anna Salai means we’re right in the thick of Chennai’s main artery. The building has that classic look, not like those glass towers they’re putting up everywhere now. Inside, it smells a bit like old paper and industrial oil. We deal with refrigeration and cooling systems, the big stuff that goes into factories and warehouses. There’s a lot of history in these walls, and you can see it in the way the furniture is laid out. It’s a professional place but in a very functional, no-nonsense way. People come in and out all day, mostly engineers and technicians looking for specific parts or advice on a setup. The traffic outside is constant, a never-ending hum of horns and engines, but once you’re inside, it’s surprisingly calm. We don’t have any of those modern office perks, just desks, filing cabinets, and people who have been working in the cooling industry for decades. It’s a solid place to work. Sometimes the humidity in Chennai makes the office feel a bit heavy, but we have our own cooling systems, so we manage. We just keep doing what we’ve always done, keeping things cold for businesses that need it across the country.
