Prince Leather Impex

Prince Leather Impex is over at Opal House, which is New No. 31 or Old No. 8/2 on E. K. Guru Street in Peri Amet. It can be a bit confusing with the old and new numbers, but once you find E. K. Guru Street, we aren't too hard to spot. Peri Amet is well known for leather, so it’s the right place for us to be. We’ve been working out of Opal House for years. The building has seen better days, but it’s solid and gives us the space we need for the leather goods. The smell of leather is everywhere here, which we’ve grown to love over time. It’s a bit of a maze inside with all the stacks of hides and finished pieces. We don’t have a fancy office with leather chairs; we usually just sit where there’s space. It’s a lot of physical work, moving heavy rolls around and checking the quality of each piece. Sometimes the street outside is so packed with carts and trucks that it’s hard to get anything in or out, but we manage. We aren't a corporate giant, just a local spot where people know their trade. We don't spend money on advertising or big signs. We just rely on the work we do every day. It’s a tough business sometimes, but we’ve stuck with it and plan to keep going as long as we can.
