Farida Leather Company

Our place is at 29-A, Perianna Maistry Street in Periamet. If you know anything about leather in this city, you know Periamet is the place to be. It has been the center of the trade for as long as anyone can remember. We are just one of the many shops along this street. The building is quite old and the stairs are a bit steep, but it has character. We spend our days surrounded by hides and skins. It’s a tough business and your hands get dirty, but there is a satisfaction in it. We don't have a corporate office with air conditioning in every room. Usually, we just have the fans going and the doors open to catch whatever breeze comes down the street. Farida Leather has been a family-run thing for a while. We know our suppliers by name and they know us. There is no need for big contracts or fancy meetings. A handshake usually does the trick. We have piles of leather stacked up to the ceiling sometimes. It gets a bit cramped, but we know where everything is. The street is always busy with carts and bikes, so getting deliveries in can be a challenge. We just make it work. It’s not a glamorous life, but it is ours. We focus on the quality of the leather and let the rest take care of itself. That is how we do things.
