Our store is located on M.P.C. Street in Sadanandapuram, right near the S.V. Nagar post office area of Chennai. It is a busy little corner of the world, and we are right in the middle of it. We keep a lot of stock on hand because people in this part of the city don't like waiting for things to be ordered in. The shelves are usually pretty full, and sometimes it gets a bit cramped in here when a new delivery arrives. I have been running this place for a while now, and I’ve learned that organization is the only way to survive. If you don't know where a specific part or item is, you waste everyone's time. We aren't a massive supermarket or a corporate chain, just a local store where we know many of our customers by name. The humidity in Chennai can be tough on the packaging, so we have to keep an eye on things constantly. Most mornings start with me unlocking the gates and checking what needs to be restocked. We don't do anything fancy like online tracking systems that never work; we just use our eyes and a bit of paper. It’s a straightforward way to live. People come in, ask for what they need, and we find it for them. It’s been at this address for years, and we don't plan on going anywhere else. It’s home for us and it keeps the bills paid while we serve the neighborhood.
