Excel Fashions Chennai is up on the 5th floor of Parsn Manere. Being at 602-anna Salai means we’re right in the thick of things in Chennai. You have to take the elevator or the stairs up to A/2 to find us. It’s a bit of a climb if the lift is acting up, but that’s just part of being in an older building like this. Once you’re inside, you’ll see we have stacks of clothes and fabric everywhere. We spend most of our hours here dealing with different fashion items. It gets pretty warm in the afternoons, but we keep the fans going and just get on with it. Anna Salai is always loud with traffic, but it’s quieter up on the fifth floor. We’ve been in this office for a good bit of time now. Most of the people who work here have been around since the start. The hallways in Parsn Manere are familiar to us now. We see the same faces every morning. At Excel Fashions Chennai, our space is packed with samples and rolls of cloth. It might look a bit cluttered to someone coming in for the first time, but we know where everything is kept. There's a certain rhythm to the day here.
