We are located at 99 GST Road in Pallavaram. We’re quite easy to find because we are right near the Ponds signal. If you’ve ever been stuck in traffic there, you’ve probably seen our building. It’s a busy stretch of road, so there's always noise from the buses and cars passing by. We work mostly with leather here. The smell of the hides is the first thing you notice when you walk in. It’s a strong scent, but we’ve grown to like it over the years. We have a couple of floors where we do the cutting and the stitching. It’s a bit of an old-fashioned way of working, but it’s what we know. We don't have a shiny showroom. It’s more of a factory outlet feel. We have samples hanging on the walls and stacks of finished jackets and bags in the corners. Sometimes the air conditioning struggles with the heat on GST Road, so we keep the fans going at full speed. My desk is right by the front window, so I watch the signal change all day. We don’t do much advertising. People usually just drop in because they saw the sign while waiting at the light. We’ve been in Pallavaram for a long time. It’s a good spot for us, even with all the traffic. We just keep our heads down and get the work done.
