Engineer Projects

We are right here at 11, Kennady Street in Choolai Pallam, which is part of MGR Nagar in Chennai. It’s a very busy neighborhood, and there’s always something happening outside the door. Engineer Projects is the name on our paperwork. The street is pretty narrow, so it gets jammed up with bikes and people walking. Our office is a small storefront that we’ve turned into a workspace. It’s got a lot of character, or maybe it’s just old. We have a couple of fans that don't quite do the job in the Chennai heat. There’s a lot of noise from the tea shop nearby and the traffic on the main road. We do a lot of planning and coordinating from this little spot. We have blueprints rolled up in the corners and some dusty computers. It’s not the cleanest place, but we know where everything is. We spend a lot of time talking to contractors and trying to keep things on schedule. It’s a lot of work, and the days feel long sometimes. We don't have a big corporate culture here. It’s just a few of us trying to make things work in a crowded city. We like being in MGR Nagar because everything we need is close by. It’s a practical location for what we do, and we’ve been here long enough that we feel like part of the furniture on Kennady Street.
