Engineer Design

Our office is located at 272/B on Ragavendra Street in Kvr Nagar. This is in the Vandimedu area of Villupuram. We call ourselves Engineer Design, but we are just a small group of local people who know how to put plans together. The building we are in is quite old and doesn't have any of those glass walls you see in big cities. It is just a functional space with some drafting tables and a few computers. We have been here for a good number of years. Most people in the neighborhood know where we are. We don't go out looking for work with big ads. Usually, someone just knocks on the door because they heard we could help them with a building plan or some structural advice. Villupuram is a busy town, and we like being right in the middle of it. Sometimes the power goes out, and we have to wait a bit to get back to the computers, but that’s just life here. We don't have any formal titles. We just sit down and get the drawings done. We try to be fair with everyone who comes in. It is a very direct way of doing business. No corporate talk, just plain English about what needs to be done. We stay busy enough with the local projects. Every project is a bit different, which keeps the work interesting for us.
