Eminent Engineering

Our shop is at 8A Kamatchi Amman Street, right in Ekkaduthangal. If you’ve been through this area, you know it’s full of small workshops and industrial noises. We fit right in with the sound of metal being cut or machines running in the background. We’re an engineering outfit, so our days are spent with grease on our hands and tools in our pockets. The space is filled with workbenches that have seen a lot of use over the years. We don’t have a big sign or a fancy lobby; people usually just walk through the open door and find us near the back. Ekkaduthangal is a good place for what we do because all the suppliers and other shops are just a short walk away. We do a lot of custom work, taking a piece of metal and turning it into whatever the customer needs. It’s not always pretty, but it’s functional and it works. We’ve got an old calendar on the wall and a radio that only picks up a couple of stations clearly. Sometimes the heat in the workshop gets to be a bit much, but we just keep the doors open and keep going. We aren't trying to be the biggest firm around, just a reliable place where you can get things fixed or made without a lot of talking. It’s honest work, and we’re glad to be part of the local community here.
